Sia fans are suing for $2.1 million after the elusive pop star spent the entire show hiding at the back of the stage.

It would seem that Sia’s Israeli fans didn’t get the memo about her penchant for removing herself from the spotlight both on and offstage.

Many of them were flabbergasted at the singer’s August 11 show at Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park where, Sia performed in the shadows at the back of the stage, giving her dancers took the limelight.

After paying $91 for lawn tickets, some attendees were so displeased with the performance and a relatively short 65 minute set time that they’re suing Sia.

In an article littered with terrible puns like “fans are wigging out” and “the singer was about as mobile and engaged as a real chandelier,” NY Daily News reports that fans were upset that Sia failed to interact with the crowd.

They also complained that – situated as far away as they were – they were relying on the venue’s large projection screens to catch a glimpse of the singer, but they instead showed pre-recorded video of stars like Kristen Wiig pretending to be Sia’s backup dancers.

As for the lawsuit, the fans aren’t just asking for their ticket money back. Oh no – they’re suing Sia and Israeli promoter Tandi Productions for $2.1 million. Good luck with that one, guys.
