Neil Young gets hacked on Twitter. Heads up: NSFW.

Thanks to projects like Pono, his high-quality digital music player, Neil Young has positioned himself as a friend of technology. Even still, though, the Harvest singer is human—and just like the rest of us, he uses weak passwords. That vulnerability was displayed yesterday when Young’s verified account was hacked—and, by the looks of it, by a 13-year-old.

Instead of doing serious damage towards the venerable singer, the hacker used Young’s account to retweet porn, and developed the #neilslayed hashtag, and changed his name to a “Slut for the D.” We’re unsure what the D stands for—a D-minor chord, perhaps?

Anyhow, the tweets have since been deleted, although the Huffington Post managed to grab a few screengrabs. In case you needed any warning, it’s NSFW.

It wasn’t particularly funny. The most hilarious moment of the ordeal might’ve happened when Young’s camp seized control of the account, confirming—to no one’s surprise—that ol’ Neil wasn’t running a porn-based, RT to follow campaign.

Young cleared the air, but the only problem? He’d forgotten to revert to his old Twitter name.
