Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 is still missing after 10 days off the international radar, and everyone has their theory about what happened—including Courtney Love. While we’re all crossing our fingers or peddling our Lost conspiracies, the former Hole singer has been diligently searching for the plane using crowdsourced satellite imagery.

At this point, you might be wondering “doesn’t she have anything better to do?” At which point, we might reply, “like what?”

On Tomnod, Love says she found what looks like an oil slick and wreckage from the flight near Pulau Perak, an island about a mile away from where they last tracked the flight. Because obviously nobody’s looked there, right?

“I’m no expert but up close this does look like a plane and an oil slick,” said Love on Facebook. “prayers go out to the families #MH370 and its like a mile away Pulau Perak, where they “last” tracked it 5°39’08.5″N 98°50’38.0″E but what do I know?”

… Don’t answer that.

While we’re quick to deride her theories because, well, she’s Courtney Love, let’s not jump to judgement here. As much as her findings—seen above—look like absolutely nothing to us, her heart, as usual, is absolutely in the right place.
