Courtney Love writes emotional notes to Kurt Cobain on daughter's birthday

In a manner reminiscent of (but far less intense/bizarre than) her publicly broadcast reading and reacting to Kurt Cobain’s suicide note shortly after his death, Courtney Love sent out a series of social media posts to her late husband expressing both anger and sadness.

It seemed the catalyst was daughter Frances Bean Cobain’s 23rd birthday. After expressing on Twitter how proud she was of Frances, Courtney switched to Instagram for a post conversing directly with Kurt.

Of course, these words that some will find touching will be dismissed by the conspiracy theorists as Love simply using her acting chops. This summer’s docudrama Soaked In Bleach, which again explores the theory that Love was involved in Cobain’s death, has given believers new material to point to during drunken house party arguments. We’re still waiting for Courtney’s Kurt Cobain biopic that aims to present her depiction of the Nirvana frontman’s life, career and death.
