The absurdity of Miley Cyrus’ tour cannot be summarized better than with this latest headline: a construction worker is suing the Bangerz tour’s staging company after being injured by a giant replica of the singer’s infamously outstretched tongue.

TMZ reports that Charles Nicholas Sarris was hired to help build the prop, which doubles as a slide, last month, but that he fell and hurt himself after his tools and equipment failed. He’s suing the equipment company, ShowFX Inc., noting that they failed to warn him about “the potential dangers involved.”

The tongue is an integral part of Miley’s elaborate stage show, since the former child star opens the show by sliding down it. Still, it’s only a smart piece of the puzzle; not only does her set include faux-fellatio on a Bill Clinton facsimile, but she’s also been seen riding giant hot dogs above the stage and flipping off her fans in a weed-covered onesie.
