Sir Paul McCartney is worth more than $800 million dollars, a Knighted Member of the British Order and a key cog in the biggest band of all time, but free is free and last night the former Beatles bassist let out his wild site at a Brooklyn Nets game when game ops staff got to the “free t-shirt” point of the basketball game.

But in a fitting holiday narrative, McCartney’s attempts proved futile, proving that money and fame can’t buy you everything.
