Questlove wrote a book about 'Soul Train'

Mere months after the release of his first book, Questlove has just announced his second: Soul Train: The Music, Dance and Style of a Generation.
Following his successful memoirs Mo’ Meta Blues, his upcoming Soul Train book attempts to commemorate the classic show’s legacy and “the cultural phenomenon that launched the careers of artists such as Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder, the Jackson 5, Whitney Houston, Lenny Kravitz, LL Cool J, and Aretha Franklin.”
It’s an ambitious project, for sure, but a foreword from Gladys Knight paired with Quest’s encyclopedic knowledge should make for an interesting, if not entirely comprehensive read.
Soul Train: The Music, Dance and Style of a Generation is out on October 22nd.
