Justin Bieber (sort of) covers Metallica

For metalheads and dad-rockers alike, Justin Bieber always seemed like somebody else’s problem. He’s annoying, but let’s let hip-hop deal with it, right? Wrong. Last week, Justin Bieber posted a short but sickening video for Metallica fans—for fifteen seconds, he stood there air guitaring and seemingly mocking along to Metallica’s “Fade to Black.”

It’s inconsequential to anyone that thinks rationally, a class that unfortunately can’t include anyone that still enjoys Kirk Hammett’s guitar solos. And you know what? Get mad, Metallica fans. You’ve earned it. I mean, does this little punk even play guitar????

(Yeah, he does. Drums, too. But he also has earrings and wears white jeans. What a pussy.)

In all seriousness, we’d love to hear a full length Biebertallica song, if only for the reaction. Make it happen, Scooter. We missed this the first time around, so thanks to Consequence of Sound for alerting us to it.
