Forget for a second how dumb the upcoming Batman vs. Superman movie might be with Ben Affleck as the caped crusader and imagine for a second your reaction to a possible Justin Bieber cameo.

This weekend, that almost seemed possible when the frequently shirtless singer Instagrammed a picture of him holding what appeared to be a copy of the movie’s script. Immediately rumoures were set off that the Vanilla Ice of our generation could possibly be playing Robin, even though fans should realize their mistake if in fact the script is based off The Dark Knight Falls arc as the script indicates. We won’t spoil it for anyone who hasn’t read The Dark Knight Returns, but Bieber doesn’t exactly fit the part.

But common sense prevailed in the end, because a source (unnamed, obviously) told TheWrap that it’s a big fake and likely part of an upcoming Funny or Die collaboration. Still, the kid’s got to be close to his movie debut right? He might never give us anything as great as Cool As Ice, but we’re hoping he’ll some day try.

Currently in the very early stages of pre-production, the Bieber-less Batman vs. Superman is scheduled to hit theatres in Summer 2015.
