Mother Monster stepped out of her solid-gold wheelchair just long enough to let people know that they should expect her new album, ARTPOP, to be released on November 11th.
She unveiled the news in classic Gaga fashion, revealing the first promo photo from the album the Inez & Vinoodh dinner at Gagosian Gallery in New York today. See that photo of her wearing what looks like a hybrid between a full-faced UV protective visor, a beekeeper’s helmet and a paintball mask? Yeah, that’s it. I’mma let you finish Gaga, but Kanye’s red balaclava…well, you get it.
Gaga also noted that ARTPOP’s first single will arrive August 19th, and a video for that single will drop September 1st. Save the dates, Little Monsters.
These dates are all confirmed via her Twitter background, but the rest of her account is a little more mysterious. Her profile picture has been changed to the default Twitter egg, and her bio reads “This interface has been shutdown temporarily. Please check back for updates.”
