In an interview with MTV Australia, RiFF RAFF, a.k.a. Jody Highroller, a.k.a. rap game James Franco, let it slip that he’s working on new material with the king of undercuts and overkill, Skrillex himself. As RiFF RAFF preps the release of his forthcoming Diplo-produced Neon Icon LP, he’s invited A$AP Rocky, Asher Roth, Action Bronson, Wiz Khalifa, Skylar Grey, Usher, Soulja Boy, and Mac Miller into the studio. When MTV asked him if he’d been working with Skrilly, RiFF accidentally unveiled plans for an entire album of EDM-infused hip-hop:

“Me and Skrillex have an album coming out. I mean we have a song coming out. Oh shit. That’s what I do when I speak too soon. I can’t tell you more than that. MTV exclusive!”

If you’re not about to take someone who only lasted two episodes on From Gs To Gents‘ word for it, here’s a Vine that proves the RiFF RAFF/Skrillex connection is legit:

Say what you will about RiFF RAFF’s rapping, he’s the rap game Will Sasso when it comes to Vine. Check out a highlight reel of his best Vine work below:
