Submit songs for his album 'Truck Stuff & Butterscotch Butts' and tour the world.

From G, to Gent, to neon icon, to cheap prom date, to potential crabcore singer, to country artist. Ah, the lifecycle of the oddball, so breathtaking in its warped majesty.

Riff Raff, a.k.a. Jody Highroller, a.k.a. Horst Christian Simco, a.k.a. ‘the anthropomorphic Florida’ (yes, I know he’s from Texas, but still), is putting together an eight-piece country band, and he needs YOU to make this fever dream a reality. Cue image of Uncle Sam with neon dreads and wraparound shades.

Riff’s put out a call for original acoustic country song demos to be sent his way, so he can craft the perfect eight-person country band to record an album called Truck Stuff & Butterscotch Butts in Nashville this October, and then tour the world behind it. *Looks slyly over at Tom Wolfe* “I think somebody just found the plot for his new novel!”

Say what you will about RRR, but you can’t say he isn’t hardworking (that’s the other RR): his latest album, Peach Panther, was released only a scant few days ago on June 24th, and Riff’s already considering his next move? Impressive work ethic, and surely not a desperate attempt to remain visible at the 14th fame-minute.

Of course, Riff Raff’s foray into country isn’t totally out of left field, at least for those of us who’ve been religiously refreshing his social media feeds:

Congratulations in advance to the lucky fiddlers, banjo disciples, and lap steel players who will have to spend the bulk of their world tour resisting the urge to hurl the neon demon into spinning helicopter blades, Furio-style. In Southern drawl, staring at a bewildered Riff through his bedazzled Raybans or whatever: “You’re… standing too close”.
