Diddy is hip-hop's richest mogul with $580 million net worth

People make fun of Diddy because why wouldn’t they, but what if we told you he’s still the richest rapper in the world? According to Forbes, he tops the hip-hop earnest list with a net worth of $580, more than $100 million more than the list’s next best earner, Jay-Z.
There’s an argument to me made that Diddy’s made lots of his money outside the rap game in recent years, but since the list also includes entrepreneurs like Dr. Dre (3rd at $350 million) and 50 Cent (5th at $125 million) we won’t nitpick. Birdman is the other name in the top five, claiming the fourth spot with a net worth of around $150 million.
