So this is pretty great. To do their music issue right, ESPN Magazine enlisted a group of athletes to help recreate iconic (or at least popular album covers) and the results are pretty perfect. Here are our three favourites from the shoot:

Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte recreating Nirvana’s Nevermind

Sprinter Allyson Felix as Beyoncé for Dangerously in Love

Cheating a bit, here are are NFL stars Marshawn Lynch, Trent Richardson and LaMarr Woodley reworking Ultimate Run-DMC

But the best one has to be this shot of Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman doing Michael Jackson’s Thriller complete with a super cute baby tiger. Yeah: a real baby tiger!

The rest of the shots include NASCAR’s Jimmie Johnson and his wife doing The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan, Motocross racer James Stewart as Rick James for Street Songs, Soccer star Alex Morgan for Katy Perry’s One of the Boys and five MLB stars in lamp-hats doing Devo’s Freedom of Choice.

ESPN has great behind the scenes videos (like the MJ one up top) for each shot, too, so be sure to check them all out when you’ve got a minute.
