Compressorhead call themselves the “world’s heaviest metal band,” and we have to agree with that claim, given the fact that the band’s roster includes a drummer with four arms, a guitar player with 78 fingers, and the “highest precision bass player in known existence.” Also, they are literally made of metal.

In the above video, you can see Bones (bass), Fingers (guitar), and Stickboy (drums) run through an instrumental version of “Ace Of Spades” by Motörhead. Even though Bones doesn’t have any prominent mechanical facial moles, they do a pretty decent job.

Do you want to see Compressorhead live? Their only scheduled live appearance will be on the main stage at all stops on the Big Day Out festival in Australia later this month. If you’re interested in booking Compressorhead for a gig, it’s worth checking out their rider, which includes three litres of hydraulic fluid, three litres of motor oil (oil is thicker than blood, after all), and one bag of assorted nuts. Note: no monitor system is required.
