With every new year comes the excitement for all the great albums we haven’t heard yet. High on my list is Hummingbird, the sophomore album from LA band Local Natives (out January 29 via Frenchkiss). The Aaron Dessner (The National)-produced record follows their successful debut Gorilla Manor, the one that put the band on the map.  

So far, we heard their track “Breakers” near the end of last year, and today I’ve got the propulsive, piano-driven “Heavy Feet” for you. Sold on both; can’t wait for the end of the month.
