Not even going to pretend we don’t care about seeing inside cool musicians’ houses: the New York Post took a tour of National guitarist Aaron Dessner’s Brooklyn home, and, yep, we’re totally jealous. Not even just because singer Matt Berninger rents the top two floors.

Dessner bought the 2,800-square-foot, three-story house seven years ago for $700,000, so, whatever, Dessner brother. He also did all of the renovations himself. Sufjan Stevens is a neighbor as are the rest of the National band members.

The backyard houses Dessner’s garage, which houses the studio the band recorded their most recent album, High Violet in. Let’s invite ourselves to move in. View the full article with a couple of photos here.
