Susan Boyle's new Twitter hashtag might be sending the wrong message #susanalbumparty

The thought this morning is that Susan Boyle’s marketing team is either completely clueless or absolutely brilliant after they started pushing #susanalbumparty as the official hashtag for the singer’s new release, but maybe there’s a third, unspoken option: maybe Sean Connery did it?

At this point they’ve officially pulled back on using the tag, but the damage is already done. Take for example the brilliant photoshop at the top of this post, which we found on writer Michael Moran‘s Twitter page.

For what it’s worth, Boyle’s new album is actually called Standing Ovation and features 11-songs from the stage, none of which have anything to do with butt stuff. It’s out now.
