DAPS Records is a Toronto family, born of friends sharing bands and making records. With Hooded Fang at the helm, and layers of undulating projects, the Do It Ourselves ethic of DAPS unifies the label’s myriad sound. Nowhere better is this illustrated than on “DAPS POP”, a compilation spanning twelve DAPS bands, the breadth of this vast-knit collective, with 66.6% more unreleased jams by that Hellaluya noise gang, the ragged Cartoons and Hussy, the slink of L CON and Times Neue Roman, Hut’s seafoam shake, Fang, Phèdre, thee Lee Paradise, and more.

Listen to the stream below and look out for new releases from Odonis Odonis, Hooded Fang, Cartoons, Beta Frontiers, and others in early 2013.

Want to win a copy of DAPS POP that you can call your own? Comment below this post and tell us why (hint: be convincing)!

COMING SOON: AUX and Scion Sessions will release a live studio performance of “Lady’s Growl” from Hooded Fang’s Gravez.
