NBC mistakenly reported astronaut 'Neil Young' died

On Saturday, it was confirmed that the first man to walk on the moon, astronaut Neil Armstrong, had died at age 82 of complications from heart surgery performed earlier in the month. NBC News broke the news of the death on Twitter, and followed it up shortly after on their website with a major error that stated it was “astronaut Neil Young, first man to walk on the moon.”

Neil Young, while the recipient of MTV Moon Men, is not an astronaut, and is alive and well.
