For the occasion, Mimi has enlisted the help of the Maybach Music MCs Rick Ross and Meek Mill, as well as veteran R&B producers Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox. The end result is a track that blends the best of modern hip-hop production with ’90s R&B.

She even does some of her trademark glass-shattering falsetto throat whistling on the track, proving she’s still got it going on.

Before you accuse Mimi of trying to stay relevant by collaborating with rappers, check your facts — Mariah Carey is no stranger to collaborating with hip-hop’s biggest stars. She teamed up with Ol’ Dirty Bastard in 1995 on the “Fantasy” remix, she did a song called “Breakdown” with Bone Thugs N Harmony in 1998, and she’s collaborated multiple times with Jay-Z, Jermaine Dupri, Mystikal, and many, many more. The hip-hop bloodline in Mariah Carey’s music is nothing short of authentic.
