Even the casino where she's performing wants the Mariah to cover up her Careys.

Even with a wider-ranged voice than a vampire bat and her status as eternal Christmas Empress, Mariah Carey has been out of the spotlight for a minute. Like most pop singers in the denouement phase of their careers, Mariah has booked Vegas residency shows to make those mansion mortgage payments, with the performances set to continue into September of this year. Well, better Caesar’s Palace than a “father-daughter kleptocracy”, at least.

Unfortunately for Mariah and her management, two salacious Carey billboards have reportedly been removed by two separate California airports for being too risqué, likely due to concerns over pilots and tin pushers’ ability to concentrate on, y’know, not causing major accidents due to distraction-by-sideboob. The billboards were advertising The Elusive Chanteuse’s triumphant return to Las Vegas, but were taken down by order of Burbank and Orange County airport management when they saw Mariah’s second and third most-discussed assets a little too prominently on display.

The billboards featured Mariah clad in little more than a gold sheet, and, according to TMZ, were apparently so head-turning, even Caesar’s Palace wants a new, more subdued version of the image to advertise the shows. When even the casino where your residency shows take place wants you to tone it down, you might wanna take note.
