We’re not sure how (or why) you’d go about storing a pair of soiled underwear for 35 years, but that’s exactly what’s happened with a pair of briefs worn by Elvis Presley in 1977, the same year he died. Crazier still, the light blue underoos are expected to sell at auction for about £10,000 when they go to auction in England on September 8th.

If you’re not up to date on currency conversions, that’s around $15,000 Canadian for a used, three and a half old decade pair of underwear with what NME so poignantly describes as a “suspicious yellow stain” on the front of the crotch.

According to BBC, the auction is going to be streamed online through Omega Auctions’ website, just in case you’re into seeing the special kind of fan willing to dish out serious cash for something soaked in a dead man’s fluids.
