5 punk bands that should be the next to reunite

Like many before them, Quicksand reunited on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night with their first TV appearance in 17 years and if we’re being totally honest… it was fucking awesome.
Unflinching in their broadcast run-through of “Fazer,” the band’s grungy, unique post-hardcore style was as fresh as ever (they also performed “Omission,” which you can watch here).
This got us thinking: who should be next?
Jawbreaker
Jawbreaker got together to jam for the first time in over a decade for a 2005 documentary, but that’s about as close as we’ve gotten so far. They’ve settled most of the drama that led to their break-up, but Blake Schwarzenbach insists he’s not physically capable of singing such classics as “Boxcar” and that other song they did.
Drive Like Jehu
We’re sorry, dudes, but Hot Snakes just isn’t enough and we’d give anything (maybe) to once again hear the angular, throat-scraping “Here Come the Rome Plows” or the sliding melodies of “Golden Brown.”
Slint
Slint briefly (for two years, shh) reunited in 2005, but we’re including them on here because Spiderland is just that good. They’ve played it in full before and oh would it ever be so nice to hear them play it in full again.
Fall Out Boy
We know. Shut up. Because before they started collaborating with Pharell and Lil Wayne, Fall Out Boy were one of the midwest’s best pop-punk bands. That’s the side we’d love to see come out again.
Fugazi
Because we can dream.
