Occasionally, an album cover is so striking that the image itself can overshadow the music it’s meant to represent. So what happens when you add a kitten or two into the mix? Well, that remains to be seen, but I’m pretty sure it will break the Internet.

Occasionally, an album cover is so striking that the image itself can overshadow the music it’s meant to represent. These iconic album covers are recognizable to 99% of the population, and they’re so memorable that they transcend genre and language barriers. Even the most ardent hip-hop fan still recognizes the cover of London Calling. If you’re in Russia, you might not be able to ask one of the locals for directions, but you can flash the cover of Ride The Lightning and they’ll almost definitely point you in the direction of the nearest booze-can.

So what happens when you add a kitten or two into the mix? Well, that remains to be seen, but I’m pretty sure it will break the Internet.
