As we edge closer to November, the presidential election campaign is getting heated. Beyoncé is officially throwing her weight behind the Obamas, and she appeared in a recent campaign video reading an open letter she wrote for Michelle in April.

Over the past few months, you’ve probably noticed that there’s a blossoming womance between Beyoncé and Michelle Obama. Michelle took her daughters to see Beyoncé’s first post-Blue Ivy performance in May. Michelle even told People Magazine that if she had to choose one person to trade places with, it would be Beyoncé.

Before we start making Michelle look like a crazed Beyoncé stalker, we should note that the feelings of admiration are mutual. In April, Beyoncé posted a hand-written open letter of tribute to Michelle Obama on her Tumblr, calling her the “ultimate example of a truly strong African-American woman.”

As we edge closer to November, the presidential election campaign is getting more and more heated. Beyoncé is officially throwing her weight behind the Obamas, and she appeared in a recent campaign video reading the open letter she wrote for Michelle in April.
