#58: Wiz Khalifa – Work Hard Play Hard

FUN FACT: Wiz Khalifa just debuted his video for “Work Hard, Play Hard,” which features slow motion images of blue collar factory workers, who eventually get to join Wiz in the party of a lifetime. Right.

#32 (Japan Hot 100): Lady Gaga – Born This Way

So it’s official — Lady Gaga’s emergency contact is Beyoncé. Or maybe Beyoncé is just the sworn protector of all divas.

FUN FACT: Check out Lady Gaga’s recent appearance on The Simpsons here.

#32: Rihanna – Birthday Cake

I believe Rihanna is referring to the dreads she had put in for her Idol performance.

FUN FACT: Rihanna had the dreads taken out yesterday, so it was very much just for the sake of the performance. Watch it below:

(Uncharted): Sean Kingston – Back 2 Life (Live It Up)

And a bridge is a bridge, so don’t crash your jetski into it.

FUN FACT: Sean Kingston sampled Soul II Soul’s 1989 hit “Back To Life” in his new song “Back To Life (Live It Up)”. Check it out here.

#11 (Youtube): Lil Wayne – Mirror

Those are harsh words from Wayne, but they’re not unprovoked. There’s a detailed historical beef between the two rappers, dating back to the 2006 song “Mr. Me Too” by the Clipse, a Virginia Beach rap duo that Pusha T is one half of. “Mr. Me Too” was perceived to be a Lil Wayne diss, because Wayne was photographed on the cover of VIBE wearing Bathing Apes, a clothing brand that was previously worn by the Clipse and Pharrell Williams. “Mr. Me Too” called out Wayne for biting their style. Read about the whole beef here.

Pusha T reignited the flames by releasing a song called “Exodus 23:1,” in which he spits the line “Throwing that flag up, thinking you hot shit, taking half of everything you get.” I guess Wayne perceived that to be about him and Young Money, so he took to Twitter at 4 a.m. and lashed out against Pusha T. Check out Exodus 23:1 below, and make up your own mind. Is it about Wayne?
