Remember when we reported that nobody would be fined for that time Justin Timberlake showed hundreds of millions of football fans (and their commercial loving families) Janet Jackson’s boob? The FCC is still trying to change that.

Rolling Stone reports that the Federal Communications Commission has filed an appeal to the Supreme Court requesting a review of the decision to hold off fining Jackson and CBS. The FCC says the courts have misinterpreted its policies, in turn “contravened settled principles governing the deference due to an administrative agency’s reasonable understanding of its own decisions,” which is a fancy way of saying that the FCC wants it their way or no way at all.

Jackson and CBS were originally fined in excess of $500,000 for the incident, but a court decision this past January revoked the punishment. By taking their complaint up to the Supreme Court, the FCC is hoping to change that. Let us remind you that this happened in 2004: they’ve been debating this for almost a decade.
