Concertgoers of Jackson's current tour are receiving emails citing copyright violations.

Watch out, Instagram-having Janet Jackson fans: The artist and her management team are (allegedly) pulling some Prince on YouTube style crackdowns.

Page Six broke the story of numerous attendees of Jackson’s ongoing Unbreakable tour receiving emails from the app citing copyright violations for their live photos and videos. One anonymous Los Angeles fan even claims she woke up on the morning after the concert to discover that her account had been deleted entirely. In her dramatically punctuated words: “Without warning. Every. Single. Photo. Gone.”

If this shadowy Big Brother scenario has you scared about the privacy of your live music snaps in Ludwig and Valencia, an Instagram rep has offered some assurance. They blame this specific account deletion on a bug in the system, and state that only repeat copyright infringers could meet such a fate. However, it seems that the artist’s team are clamping down, as producer Seven Aurelius has also claimed that his SoundCloud and YouTube accounts were pulled down after he posted a previously unreleased Jackson collaboration.
