Fun.’s We Are Young hits #1 on Billboard – This song has been catchy from day one and Janelle Monae’s fantastic verse doesn’t hurt either. Since the song was featured in a Superbowl commercial for Chevy, the band has been seeing tons of attention. Anyway, if you cannot get enough of the video, you can watch it below or tune into POPHUNTER on AUX TV (channel 107) because they’ve got it in high rotation.

Someone face-morphs Britney, proves we are assholes – We know, Britney used to be the hottest lady in pop culture. We wanted her abs, we wanted her perfect blonde hair, we wanted her whiter than white teeth and we wanted her then boyfriend Justin. Then she lost it all and we watched and poked at all of her flaws and tribulations. So someone decided to capitalize on her not-so-kind way of aging by making a video of Brit’s face from birth until now. Eep.

SWV are still alive, re-uniting and touring this summer – Sisters with Voices are back y’all. We haven’t heard about them in fourteen long years but the ladies I only remember from the Free Willy soundtrack are touring all over the southern USA this summer. I got nothing else.

 

Jessica Simpson Poses Nude, Is Still Pregnant – I don’t care what anyone says, posing nude while pregnant is frankly the most disgusting form of art that I have ever seen. Not only has Jessica Simpson been pregnant for what seems like 9 years but photos of her really huge bod have been littering the internet every single day. I get it, J-Simp has no other claim to fame these days, but there has to be something more tasteful she can do (like singing pop music with Bow-Wow or something). Or, she could be like former Disney princess, Hilary Duff and make a Funny or Die video.

50 Cent to play entire Get Rich or Die Tryin’ album at SXSW – South by South West is all about hot new shit happening in all aspects of culture, which is why it makes no sense that 50 Cent will be at a Shady showcase playing his 2003 debut album in it’s entirety. It wasn’t enough that mainstreamer Jay-Z was going to try and boost his indie cred by attending the renowned festival, now the Slim Shady crew is setting up shop too. Yes, you will be able to find 50 in da club (in one of da clubs in Austin with all the other music nerds).
