Neil Young and Crazy Horse announce new album 'Americana'

Neil Young and Crazy Horse have followed up on their mysterious 37-minute studio jam that showed up online in January with the new album announcement: Americana will be released on June 5.

It’s the band’s first album together since Greendale in 2003, and their first album with the full Crazy Horse line-up since 1996.

Don’t get too excited for brand new music, though: as the title may suggest, Americana is made up of all classic American folk songs such as “Clementine,” “This Land Is Your Land,” and “She’ll Be Comin Round the Mountain,” all rearranged and performed by the band.
