Johnny Depp and Marilyn Manson have been friends since they met on the set of 21 Jump Street in the late 80s, which might explain why they’ve reportedly collaborated for a cover of Carly Simon’s “You’re So Vain.”

MTV News says that the cover will be a bonus track on Marilyn Manson’s upcoming Born Villain, with Manson revealing that the two chose “You’re So Vain” because it was “a song which we thought was ironic for each other.”

Manson notes that Depp played guitar and drums on the track, adding that “the video will probably be us looking at each other like a mirror.”

Check out Carly Simon’s “You’re So Vain” below, and look for Born Villain when it hits stores on April 30th.
