Since it’s impossible to address the total madness of the music industry in only five days, Pop Uncultured saves some of the week’s strangest stories for Friday afternoon. Enjoy?

LMFAO will play the Super Bowl [FULL STORY]

Surprise! This year’s Super Bowl halftime guest will be none other than LMFAO, who will encourage fans to determine whether or not they are “sexy,” and to “party rock in the house [that] night.” The performance will be a stark contrast to Madonna‘s, who will likely just ask all attendees to turn around and face the wall.

Miley Cyrus has covered Bob Dylan (but that’s not all!)

After releasing a country cover of Bob Dylan’s “Blood on the Tracks,” TMZ released photos of Miley Cyrus eating a penis-shaped cake that her boyfriend was given for his birthday. Said her best friend Leslie, “She’s just being Miley.” Which didn’t answer my question, “What flavour was the cake?” [via Gawker]

Disney released and then un-released Joy Division t-shirts [FULL STORY]

Despite Disney having unleashed Joy Division themed t-shirts earlier this week, they’ve pulled the product to “further review” the situation. However, as of Tuesday, the shirts had already sold out. Likely as a result of the marketing campaign, “Not even love can tear this fabric apart!”

Nickelback don’t want you to make fun of them anymore

Nickelback mean business. Tired of being the proverbial toilet, the Canadian rockers have taken to Twitter to respond to comments like “my ears are bleeding” with rebuttals like “then it’s working?!?!?! Sweet!” Evidently, their new slogan is “We’re rubber, you’re glue and you remind of this photograph that makes me laugh every time we look at it and HA, now this song is stuck in your head.” Bastards. Drake wants to play Obama

Revealing that it is “his goal” to play Obama on the big screen, Drake admitted to studying the president’s speeches and says he has gotten “pretty good at impressions.” And don’t sell him short, guys, because it was by impersonating a rapper on Degrassi that got Drake his start in the first place:

Cher was the subject of an internet death hoax

There is no need to “Turn Back Time” because Cher is “Strong Enough” to survive an internet death hoax that fooled major tweeters like Kim Kardashian and Patti Stanger who “Believe[d]” the singer was “Just Like Jesse James” (read: dead). But she isn’t, and remains a “Proud Mary” (alive).

Seal and Heidi Klum have split up

Now more his pain than his pleasure, Heidi Klum has filed for divorce from singer Seal, who explained to People that they’ve talked to their kids about how things will “be different.” Word has that Seal simply recited “Fly Like An Eagle” while introducing his children to Rose, the woman he was originally kissed by:

Nicki Minaj‘s Roman’s Revenge won’t be released for a while [FULL STORY]

It’s going to be a pretty lonely Valentine’s Day for everyone waiting for Roman’s Revenge. Originally scheduled to be released on February 13, it’s not coming out until April 3, which would be the perfect April Fool’s Gift if the album was just an hour of a guy named Roman telling us why he was angry.

Lady Gaga‘s parents have opened an Italian restaurant

According to MTV, Lady Gaga has opened an Italian restaurant with her Dad, which will open its doors to the public on Wednesday. If Gaga’s smart, the restaurant’s specialty beverages will include “Americano” and “Bloody Mary,” and no one will die at the hands of Beyonce.

Megupload co-founder is putting an album

Megaupload co-founder Kim Dotcom is planning a solo music career, despite his inevitable stint in federal prison. However, it’s becoming more and more likely that this will be his debut single:
