After the big reveal that this year’s SXSW keynote speaker would be Bruce Springsteen, the festival has also gotten on to announcing the third wave of acts for next year’s festival.

Canada is, as usual, not hurting for representation down south, and prove the stars of this round: Metric (who should be nearing or just off a new album release by then), Stars, Zeus, Cuff the Duke, Great Lake Swimmers, Trust, Young Galaxy, and others are part of the newest roster of bands, as are U.S. favourites Built To Spill, Cheap Girls, and Beach Fossils. Also: Thomas Dolby. Awesome.

The festival takes place March 13-18 in Austin, and to keep an eye on the ever-expanding list of bands playing, check out the SXSW website.
