Courtney Love facing eviction from her Manhattan townhouse for 'ruining' the interior and not paying rent

The notoriously unstable Love is facing eviction from the Manhattan townhouse she’s been renting for almost a year after the home’s owner claims she ruined the interior and is behind on rent payments.

“Courtney has wallpapered and painted a large portion of the property without my consent,” owner Donna Lyon told the New York Post. “I learned about this when I wanted to sell the house and had photographs taken. They sent me the brochure and I said, ‘This can’t be my property.’ I came to New York to see it and I was horrified by what she had done. The walls that had been hand-painted and glazed were ruined, covered in damask wallpaper and ice-blue paint.”

In addition to the damages, Love is $54,000 behind on her $27,000/month rent. [via Rolling Stone]
