Watch the new Fleet Foxes video, "The Shrine/An Argument"

It’s only fitting that the eight-minute “The Shrine/An Argument,” a standout on Fleet Foxes latest album Helplessness Blues, would get a suitably grand animated video.

Animated and directed by singer Robin Pecknold’s brother Sean, the video instantly called to mind The Lion King for some reason, but the mixed-media looking clip has a lot more going on than just animals fighting.

“Please watch in HD with headphones or speakers and full screen if you really want to get crazy,” advises the clip’s Vimeo page. You can watch it above
