Death Cab For Cutie’s Ben Gibbard is a baseball nerd. Says so in his Twitter bio. Plus he released that feelings-y song over a trade the other day. He’s been tweeting about (and at) the Seattle Mariners ever since, and then, presumably to deal with his grief, he started riffing. He created the #IndieRockTradeDeadline.
