Lupe Fiasco has just released his stop-gap mixtape Friend of The People with some inexplicable artwork and tons of samples, including bits from the likes of Justice, Ellie Goulding, and The Glitch Mob.

It also features a sample from one of the year’s best, M83’s “Midnight City.” Is it a sample when it’s just rhyming over the bed track? You can hear that song, “The End Of The World,” below, and grab the full mixtape here.
