Watch Lupe Fiasco get hit by a tomato, melt down on Twitter

It’s a cliché because it’s true. Nothing in this world is certain, except for death, taxes, and Lupe Fiasco meltdowns.

After threatening to end his career after a spat with Chief Keef and delivering an anti-Obama rant at an inauguration party, the Chicago rapper’s latest meltdown comes after a fare more pedestrian event: He had a tomato lobbed at him after a Salt Lake City concert.

When he was hit with the fruit, he accosted members of the crowd who were watching him perform from the venue’s balcony, singling out a perpetrator he called a “fat white bitch.” He tried to get fans to vacate the balcony, and when they were unwilling, Lupe cancelled the performance.

Of course, a Lupe meltdown wouldn’t be complete without a Twitter rant. Allhiphop documented the tweets, which include Lupe disparaging “snipers” on the balcony.

When fans took exception to Lupe’s language—specifically, his misogynist language—he didn’t mince words. He called a showgoer a “fat white bitch” because, he explained, she’s an overweight caucasian. And, apparently, a bitch. Right.
