Coldplay reportedly stops set mid-song to tell audience member to stop playing the tambourine

Someone somehow managed to bring a tambourine to a Coldplay concert, and while that sounds like a pretty exciting way to jazz things up, singer Chris Martin was less than impressed.
According to a show review posted over on MusicNews, Martin reportedly paused the band’s performance of “The Scientist” this past Thursday to tell an audience member to stop playing the tambourine.
“Don’t take this to be some kind of anti-tambourine rally or rant against the tambourine,” said Martin. “It’s one of my favourite instruments.”
