Mariah Carey to re-record “All I Want For Christmas” with J-Biebs

Everybody stop what you’re doing and get excited for this: MTV reports that Justin Bieber will be re-recording Mariah Carey’s iconic “All I Want For Christmas Is You” WITH Mariah herself, making it the next greatest version of the song next to this one:

Haters gonna hate.

Kanye West and Taylor Swift high five and make up [FULL STORY]

According to writer Lizzie Widdicombe, the infamous Kanye/Taylor feud was put to bed after the two high-fived at the Met Costume Gala. But for old times’ sake, let’s just take a walk down memory lane:

50 Cent signs on to star in and produce an action movie

Because why wouldn’t he, 50 Cent is continuing to try and prove himself as an actor, this time gearing up to shoot and produce The Pursuit, a crime thriller that “centers on a cop and a criminal who ‘inadvertently team up to track down an escaped bank robber'” while something, something, something, U.S. Marshals. And this all seems very well and good, but wasn’t he supposed to be focusing on comedy?

Snoop Dogg‘s upcoming sitcom will be helmed by the guy who brought us Blossom [FULL STORY]

Let’s say it together: WOAH!

Nicki Minaj let Willow Smith sing a verse on a song

Or vice versa. But whatever! Sometimes we need to remember that “Whip My Hair” jokes won’t last forever, and an artist needs to evolve with a song about pyromania and parties and the phrase, “Even though you’re a minor.”

Don’t let haters keep you off your grind, girl.

Rod Stewart is penning an autobiography about his sexcapades

Finally, the memoir we’ve all been waiting for. Admitting he had to think “long and hard” (that’s what she said) before considering a career in literature, Rod Stewart is ready to open the lid on his sexy-ass life, promising that as readers, we can “forget skeletons in the closet” because “this one’s going to be socks and knickers under the bed”. As for any other articles of clothing, I guess we can assume that when you’re with Rod, those all stay on. [via NME]

Lifetime wants to make a movie about Lady Gaga [FULL STORY]

Never one to think “too soon”, Lifetime is reportedly developing a biopic on the fashion-forward (?) superstar, entitled Fame Monster: The Lady Gaga Story. Personally, if it’s even half as good as this, I think we’re all in for a treat.

Ke$ha met (and freaked out) Alice Cooper

After collaborating with Alice Cooper on the single, “What Baby Wants”, Ke$ha has admitted to Music-News that she “grossed out” the rock legend with her “lyrical content”, thanks to gems like “I’ll bathe in your blood” and “I’m gonna chew through you”. So to recap, Ke$ha successfully sickened a man whose entire career is based on stuff like this:

Bret Michaels is designing a line of ‘rock ‘n roll pet products’ for PetSmart [FULL STORY]

After PetSmart realized they needed a “cool line of products” to reflect the personalities of pets and their parents, they sought out the coolest guy in the world to design the next big thing. We can only assume that it was after that cool person rejected the idea that they approached Bret Michaels who accepted it gratefully.
