Listen to Superchunk's Misfits cover, "Where Eagles Dare"

Though they’re quickly becoming known more as a t-shirt selling juggernaut, the Misfits remain one of the quintessential Halloween punk bands. That, we assume, is what’s led indie rockers Superchunk to covering a classic track from the devil-locked horror punks for the second year running. Last year they gave us “Horror Business,” the group’s single which solidified their now iconic logo.
This year they’ve opted for a more chronological cover, turning out their take on “Where Eagles Dare,” the b-side off their “Night of the Living Dead” single released on Halloween 1979.
