Listen to "Princess of China," a new Coldplay song featuring Rihanna

It almost felt like we had to be joking when we told you that Coldplay was working with Rihanna, right? Turns out the joke is on you, sucker, because the song totally surfaced over the weekend and it’s totally utterly real. Called “Princess of China,” it’s a surprisingly poppy number dominated by a pulsing beat, and what it lacks in moan-accompanied piano plinks it more than makes up for in boy-girl la la las.
And okay, there aren’t any princesses in China. Let’s just let them have this one, though, since Chris Martin has said Coldplay’s upcoming album (Mylo Xyloto, out October 24th) could be their last.
