After a decade plus of being laughed at, Limp Bizkit lead singer Fred Durst is set to try and be funny on purpose in Douchebag, an aptly named CBS sitcom in which Durst will star as a “rock legend” trying to juggle his rock star lifestyle with his family.
The idea was pitched to CBS by Durst’s manager, John Schneider, who clearly hates him at least a little bit. It’ll be written by Matthew Carlson, whose last show Mr. Sunshine lasted two months on the air before being cancelled. [via Blabbermouth]
