Rebecca Black's friend releases first single, world still turning

Because the internet is a wonderfully strange and constantly evolving cultural landscape, one of Rebecca Black‘s friends has just released her own video for the single “Can You See Me Now.” Benni Cinkle appears in the “Friday” video for about two seconds, but because Andy Warhol really knew what was up, she’s now milking her weird micro-internet celebrity as “the girl in pink” for all it’s worth (read: bulked-up sleeveless dancers, pseudo-inspirational video narrative).
