MySpace’s descent into an ugly, unusable platform for bands who have not yet realized that no one will listen to them if our only option is MySpace is not lost on anyone, least of all its founder, Tom Anderson, aka MySpace Tom.

“Why am I not on MySpace?” he asks on his new Facebook page. “Because, I left the company in early 2009, and like most of you, I don’t like using it anymore. Not a fan of what the new folks have done with MySpace.”

NO, US EITHER TOM. Facebook is inching closer towards good functionality in the music world, too, so maybe MySpace will just go away forever soon. Sorry, JT.
