Madonna says she’s working on a new album and that we can expect a new single by March, but as far as what it’ll sound like… we can’t be sure. According to Madge’s manager, Guy Oseary, “She has a good idea of which producers she will be working with … lots of questions about what kind of music it will be … stay tuned.”
Our best guess? That it’ll sound probably more than a little like Lady Gaga.
The iconic singer turned mediocre director spoke to the press in Italy while promoting some new movie she made that no one will see, telling Swedish TV station that she’s already done “a little work” on the album and will pick it up full time once she gets back to New York. MTV reports that she’s been spotted in the studio with Ray of Light producer William Orbit.
The as-of-yet untitled album will be Madonna’s first for Live Nation and should be out sometime in Spring 2012. Her last album, 2008’s Hard Candy, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200.
