Madonna publicly hates on flowers from a fan, tells everyone to shut up about it

A couple of days ago, everyone tsk-tsk’d Madonna for accidentally letting the world know she hated the flowers a fan handed her at a Venice Film Festival presser, and now she’s issued a statement saying she has every right to her taste in flowers and shut up, basically.
From her rep:
“She’s entitled to like any flower she wants and she didn’t want to hurt the feeling of the hydrangeas of the world. No disrespect to the hydrangeas lovers of the world but she prefers different types of flowers.”
