Misfits (yes, the band from the t-shirts) have announced that their first new album in roughly 8 years will be called The Devil’s Rain and that it’ll be out on October 4th through their own label, Misfits records.

Unfortunately the horror-punk legends (and t-shirt sales megalomaniacs) are still without infamous frontman Glenn Danzig, but if its any compromise, lone original member Jerry Only has decided to take the reigns from former vocalist Michael Graves. The album’s front and back cover will reportedly be painted by comic artist Arthur Suydam, most known for his work on the Marvel Zombies series of comics.

There’s also a tour, during which they’ll play their only Canadian date on October 26th in Toronto. [via Verbicide]
