Nick Oliveri could be facing up to fifteen years in jail relating to his arrest last month when a dispute between the ex-Queens of the Stone Age bassist and his girlfriend turned into a five hour stand-off with a Los Angeles S.W.A.T team. Oliveri reportedly wouldn’t let his girlfriend leave their apartment and when police busted the door down they found drugs and a loaded rifle.
Today TMZ reports that Oliveri has been officially charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with a firearm, 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance, and one misdemeanor count of resisting, obstructing or delaying a peace officer. He’ll face a maximum sentence of 15 years if convicted on all counts.
It’s not known who’ll fill in for Oliveri on the upcoming Kyuss Lives! North American dates.
